Chia seeds are one of the latest power foods and for good reason. One tablespoon of these tiny little seeds contains as much calcium as a glass of milk. They have more omegas than salmon or flax seeds and 30% more antioxidants than blueberries.
You can use them by sprinkling on cereal, salads, or add to juices, smoothies or just drink 1 tablespoon in one cup of water or juice. Let sit for 10 minutes and drink or store in refrig for up to one week.
